Defending the Southside Civil War Van Tour
March 15, 2008 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Join Michael Moore for a journey south of the James which includes visits to Fort Boykins, Fort Huger, and Drewry’s Bluff. Learn about the Confederate defense of the James River, the Battle of Hampton Roads, and the Union advance up the James in May of 1862. $45 per person. Reservations required.
The Easter Bunny and the Great Egg Hunt

For children up to age 12. Bring the kids to Lee Hall for our third annual Easter Egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for games and photo ops. A great family event! $5 per person.

Follow Grant’s Overland Campaign through the first bloody battles of the Union advance toward Richmond in 1864 with historian Michael Moore. $45 per person. Reservations required.
Herbs, Plants & History
May 17, 2008 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
The fascinating world of plants and herbs is explored in this program on the beautiful grounds of Lee Hall Mansion. A Native American interpreter and an English herbalist from 1607 Jamestown will examine the historical uses of herbs.
North Anna/ Cold Harbor Civil War Van Tour
May 17, 2008 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Continue on the route of Grant’s Overland Campaign with historian Michael Moore. The tour includes visits to Mt. Carmel, Ox Ford, Hanover Station, Cold Harbor, and Wilcox’s Landing. $45 per person. Reservations required.

Spend an evening with the master of terror and the macabre. The great writer talks about his life and philosophy of writing in addition to reciting some of his more notable works. $15 per person.
