Groups of all ages will learn about the Lee family and the role this home played during the Civil War.

Civil War Van Tour: Vermont and Louisiana Troops on the Virginia Peninsula

April 18, 2020 - 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM

The Green Mountain Boys and the Louisiana Zouaves provided colorful episodes of camp life and participated in the Civil War’s first battles. Visit Hampton, Camp Butler, Cedar Lane, Young’s Mill, Dam No. 1, and Yorktown with Historian J. Michael Moore.

Cost is $45.00 per person. Expect extensive walking. The tour leaves from the Lee Hall Mansion parking lot plan to arrive at least twenty minutes before departure. Participants should bring a bag lunch, drink and small cooler. Payment is due no later than two weeks before tour and guarantees your reservation-first come first served.
